On October 26th the Somerset Targa Rally will be taking place across Exmoor hosted by the Tavern, Taunton, Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea Motor Clubs.
The event starts and finishes at Cutcombe Farmers Market then uses a road route to reach the sections on private land including the Forestry Enterprise roads in Knowle, Croydon and Timberscombe and also the Porlock Toll Road. Permission has been granted by all landowners and the Exmoor National Park are aware of the route.
Driving standards observers will be posted on the route on the day of the event and road sections will be timed at a 20MPH average speed to ensure low speed on the public highway.
Drivers will be briefed to maintain good driving standards at all times.
