This meeting will be recorded in accordance with NALC’s Guidance on Recording of Parish Meetings.

Agenda

  1. To receive apologies for absence – (LGA 1972 s85 (1))
  2. To consider any declarations of interest and disclosable pecuniary interest dispensations Members to declare any interests they may have in agenda items and consideration of any prior requests from member for Dispensations (NB this does not preclude any later declarations) (LGA 1972 s12 para 41(1))
  3. To consider items to be dealt with after the public, including press, have been excluded. (Section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960
  4. To consider for approval and signing the minutes of the Extraordinary Meeting of the Council held on the 26th June ‘24
  5. To consider a two week extension for Porlock Vale Community Interest Company, vacating the Old School Centre premises on Friday 15th November ‘24
  6. To receive an update on public feedback on the future use of the Old School Centre (OSC) (Ref: C-2024-017)
  7. Public participation This section provides an opportunity for members of the public (who are not usually permitted to speak during the meeting except by special invitation of the Chair) to participate. (LGA1972 s 12 paras 10(2) (b))         
  8. To consider the main priorities for review at the next meeting
  9. To consider which layout options should be put forward for review at the September Council meeting
  10. To consider when to make a final decision – 11th September or 9th October ‘24 Council meetings
  11. To review and consider defined next steps and agree dates
  12. To note the next ordinary Council meeting will be the 11th September ’24, at 7pm in Porlock Village Hall
