Hill Climb Epilogue! Minehead Cycling Club’s Ride for Scott – Sunday 15 September 2024

This year Minehead Cycling Club are holding a fun ride up to the Toll Gate after the Toll Road Event.

This is a informal event, open to all taking advantage of the closed road. Entry is free, however Minehead Cycling Club are raising funds to support cycle rehabilitation for Scott Huish an MCC member who is recovering from a stroke in his 40’s , so please come along, make the most of a car free road, and ride of a good cause.

Exmoor Adventures: Are an outdoor adventure and E bike hire base that will be on hand at Event HQ. Come & try an E bike for the ‘Ride for Scott’ or book up for another adventure on your return visit to Exmoor.

Picnics and safe play area: Porlock Parish Council are making available their secluded picnic area to the rear of Porlock Visitor Centre, this can be accessed through the gate on the east side of the Visitor Centre and is a real gem.

Porlock Ladies – for wonderful refreshments and steadfast support of the event over the years. However if you don’t fancy their cakes and tea, try Edwardos Cafe & Pizza which will be open throughout the day. For more exotic refueling try The Kitchen at Porlock Bay Oysters at Porlock Weir, who have kindly contributed to the prize fun.
